The Canyon Review ranks developer tools and platforms so you don't have to spend a week doing it yourself. The shortlist, the criteria, the prices as of a stated date, and the one we'd skip. That's the whole product.
How the rankings work
The criteria and weights are written down before the scoring starts, not fitted to a favorite afterwards. Anything we ran ourselves says so. Anything priced from public pages carries an as-of date and a link. Desk research is labeled desk research.
When a vendor changes pricing or ships something that would move a verdict, we update the entry and note the change. A ranking with a stale price is a wrong ranking.
What we don't do
No affiliate links. No sponsored positions. No "reach out for a partnership" page. If a ranking reads like an ad, one of us broke the rules and you should tell the bench.
